The Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency is a federal agency mandated to supervise adults on probation, parole, and supervised release in the District of Columbia.
On August 4, 2000, the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) was certified as an independent executive branch agency. CSOSA has since transformed community supervision in the Nation’s Capital by focusing on evidence-based practices that address the unique needs and risks of each person on supervision.
